For example, the driver that runs the colored backlights on the keyboard likes to just randomly crap out for no reason. Currently I am able to run the computer with Radeon disabled, though Windows Update occasionally attempts to install drivers for it, causing it to enable and freeze. But now I’m left with a computer that can only run on the integrated gfx Intelwhich is not ideal! Windows 10 bit CPU: Alienware 18 and M18x. Ultimately, the only solution to get my computer working has been to completely uninstall the m and force Windows to stop updating it, so the driver is never reinstalled.

Aager tried several of the fixes people had shared in that thread, so far no success. Sorry for the delay in my reply, I’ve been camping for a week without internet access.
This allowed me to get to the Lock screen, however shortly after logging in the system would lock up again. Similar Threads – saegr Sager NP Oh, also, the trackpad is just horrendously awful. Finally, I decided to try a previous driver version.
Researching this issue indicated that perhaps a GPU driver issue was to blame. Afterwards, booting the computer resulted in a black screen sagr no cursor, after the Windows logo but before the lock screen. Currently I am able to run the computer with Radeon disabled, though Windows Update occasionally attempts to install drivers for it, causing it to enable and freeze. I can sage sound, though. Setting that game to power saving so it runs on the Intel also fixes the issue, though it flashes black occasionally.
Any suggestions for a workaround, or an ETA for a patch? So unfortunately it’s probably a dead GPU. When I rebooted, I received a BSOD right sagerr the Windows logo with spinning dots, before the lock screen, which displayed an error code 0xca.

I restarted into Safe Mode again and discovered the Radeon had been re-enabled. I’ve only had one game give me a black screen Timeshock, running via a shortcut.
